Speeding on Uxbridge Drive has been an issue for many years.
Last year, following an accident, I called on the council to implement traffic calming measures. However I was told that there was not a strong enough case for them.
I have now recently been contacted again by many residents, following another accident on this road.
I am, therefore, launching a petition with your Labour councillors and your candidate for the local elections, Tina Scott, calling on the council to introduce traffic calming measures on Uxbridge Drive, including a proper crossing near the junction with Hornchurch Road.
